"Of Fall and Fireflies" is a visual diary, a personal narrative of my life,
that of my children and family.
My original intent was to try to capture the essence and fleetingness of my children's childhood,
as well as the ever-changing dynamic of sibling relationships.
However, over time, a stronger sense of my own perspective and frame of mind as a mother,
of six children of various ages emerged.
This viewpoint was shaped by a confluence of events and factors...

I thoroughly enjoyed my year at Atelier Smedsby.
It was an intense, yet very motivating experience.
JH and Margot provided inspirational guidance and help with my project throughout.
My fellow participants were a wonderful and talented group!
